The XLE features 17-inch alloy wheels, two-toned upgraded upholstery, a sunroof, foglights, heated mirrors, privacy glass, roof rails, dual-zone automatic climate control, a rearview camera, cruise control, leather-wrapped tilt/telescoping steering wheel, a 60/40-split folding and reclining rear seat, a 6.1-inch touchscreen interface, Bluetooth, the Entune Audio Plus package, which adds satellite and HD radios, traffic and weather information, Siri Eyes Free for iPhones and the Scout GPS Link navigation smartphone integration app, and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack, and a USB port.
The standard engine is a 176-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder that drives through a six-speed automatic transmission. This combination provides responsive enough power delivery, with a 0-60 mph time of about nine seconds and a respectable 26 mpg combined (23 city/30 highway).
